Terms and Conditions
PLEASE NOTE: Your place will not reserved until payment has been received in full.
Refund policy
If you decide not to attend, you are entitled to a refund until 1 week before the classes are due to start, minus a 10% Administration fee. If there is less than a week before the course begins or the course has started, you will not be entitled to any refund as we will not be able to fill your spot. Places are limited therefore missed lessons cannot be reimbursed.
Health and Safety
There are a maximum of five dogs in any class. Occasionally, classes may be run with less than five dogs depending on the type of course or other circumstances. Should this not be the case then classes may be cancelled at short notice. Refunds will be offered or your name will be put forward for the next available class.
Sometimes we find a group class is too difficult for some dogs, so to be sure we are doing the best for your dog we may need to find an alternative solution to meet your needs. Should this occur, you will receive a full refund and will be offered alternative training.
You are responsible for your own health and safety, the health and safety of your dog and any person that may accompany you to the training. You must follow the health and safety guidelines provided in classes.
We do not allow the use of any aversive equipment e.g. choke chain collars or slip leads or aversive training methods in class.
Please do not allow your dog off their lead unless asked to do so. Please follow the trainer’s instructions as there are often safety aspects in mind. To avoid tummy upsets with your dog, please be careful in your choice of treats and do not feed other people’s dogs without permission.
Photographs and recorded media
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the training sessions and used at our discretion for the purposes of training or social media. We will ask specific permission from you when taking photographs and recordings during training. We respect your decision should you not wish to be photographed or recorded during training. Photographs and or recordings that we make remain the property of Cat and Dogs, Professional Dog Training. You are permitted to take your own photographs and recordings of your dog during training session. Please ensure you let the trainers and other handlers know you are recording and be careful that you do not include other handlers or dogs in your recordings.
My commitment to you
The relationship between trainer and student is a two-way relationship; we work as a team. I will always do my best to serve your needs, provide the highest level of care, be punctual and communicate efficiently. In return, I ask that you practice any homework tasks that I set you, as this consolidates the learning we do in class. I also ask you to let me know if you are not able to attend a session.
Feedback & complaints
If at any time, or for any reason, you are not happy with our service please let us know as soon as possible so we can efficiently and effectively address any issues. Your feedback is always welcome so we can endeavour to maintain high standards of care and training for all our clients and their dogs.
